Guilt free fig cookies

In need of something sweet?

Try these sugar free but delicious fig and date cookies to hit the spot.

Preparation time 10 minutes
Cooking time around 10-12 minutes


  • 1 cup of figs
  • 1 cup of dates with the stones removed
  • 3 banana’s
  • 1 cup of walnuts
  • 2 cups of oatmeal
  • fresh vanilla pod seeds or a sprinkle of cinnamon to flavor


  1. Soak figs for 24 hours or use pre dried figs
  2. Remove any knobby stems and cut figs into quarters
  3. Soak the dates in warm water for 20 minutes
  4. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees and grease baking tray
  5. Add all ingredients to food processor except oatmeal and blend
  6. Add oatmeal and blend until mixture forms a dough like texture
  7. Place large drops onto a greased baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden

Enjoy as a healthy, guilt free delicious snack.
